What are neurotoxins?
Neurotoxins are medications that prevent the underlying muscle activity that causes signs of aging, such as fine lines and wrinkle formation, as well as skin creases and folds. They don’t prevent you from showing expression, but they do keep the lines caused by muscular movement from forming for a while.
How do neurotoxins work?
The neurotoxins are injected into the treatment sites using fine needles and work by inhibiting muscle contraction in and around “problem areas.” Neurotoxins are excellent for smoothing and reducing wrinkles, but they also aid in the prevention of deeper wrinkles as we age.
What can I expect after a Botox neurotoxin treatment?
