Waxing

Our highly trained Master Estheticians use hard wax for the more sensitive areas, which offers gentle hair removal while soothing, exfoliating, and softening your skin. Soft wax (commonly known as strip wax) is used for larger body areas.

Our wax is always kept at a safe and comfortable temperature. We apply the wax with a wooden applicator in the direction of the hair growth. The wax is allowed to cool for a short time before being quickly removed in the opposite direction of the hair growth. The cooling allows us to stretch and mold the wax around larger areas of skin, making it more comfortable.

Waxing is one of the efficient ways to get rid of unwanted hair temporarily. The hair is removed from the roots, rather than from the surface, making it more effective than shaving. In waxed areas, hair regrows lighter and sparser or does not grow at all.

Benefits of Waxing

Regrowth is less frequent. One of the best known benefits of waxing is that the hair does not grow back very quickly. No more shaving cuts thanks to waxing! It grows back finer. Waxing is like exfoliating your skin. Waxing eliminates shaving rash. Waxing prevents ingrown hairs. Waxing eliminates itching. Allows you to enjoy a moment of pampering and time for yourself!

Waxing FAQs

Hard wax is a stripless wax. It basically means the wax is applied to your skin, “cure” until a certain point, and then is removed without using strips or papers. The hard wax is usually far more gentle than soft wax. In addition to being quicker and cleaner than strip wax, it uses larger strips and does not leave behind a residue. Hard wax is less likely than hard wax will cause bruising, lifting, redness, or sensitivity.

Waxing on a regular basis causes hair to grow back slower, finer, and sparser. Shaving cuts your hair, not removing it-so the quantity and thickness remain the same. Since electrolysis and laser hair removal does not work for everyone, waxing is a terrific universal alternative. Those treatments are also costly, so waxing is a great alternative that’s much easier on your bank account.

For people with more sensitive skin, waxing can be a great benefit. Waxing is much gentler on the skin than other methods of hair removal.
Hair should be ¼ inch long. If the hair is too short, the hair will be harder to remove, or if too long, it could be painful. If you normally shave, please allow 7-10 days between shaving and waxing.
No, it won’t. After waxing, your hair won’t become thicker or darker, just the opposite! When the root of the hair is removed, it grows back much softer and becomes finer over time.
Waxing gives you hair-free skin for at least 1-2 weeks after your appointment.
